12 week 'fundamentals of mosaic' workshop

 The 12-Week Fundamentals of Mosaic workshop supported by Helping Hands Community Project, is designed to immerse the charity's service users in the timeless art of mosaic, providing a strong foundation in both technique and creativity. Throughout the course, participants will explore various opus techniques, learning how to meticulously cut and shape tiles to create a natural flow within their designs. Using a variety of tools and tile formats, they will develop precision and confidence in their craftsmanship. The workshop covers the direct method of mosaic application, guiding students through the intricacies of placement and composition. Additionally, participants will master grouting techniques to enhance and complete their pieces. With a focus on both skill and artistic expression, this workshop takes place in a supportive and safe environment, encouraging learners to experiment, refine their techniques, and bring their mosaic visions to life. 

The next 12 week session commences on the 7th March.
